Day 1

I got the new tank, stand and canopy from OCEA today. Ty deliver the tank as promise.

Everything look OK until I discover this, I have not call TY yet due to holiday. There is anothe fracture like that on the other side of the tank.

I need some help. Do you think it will effect any stability of the tank? I saw it has like a little air pocket. I will email TY next week. I hope a little patch job will solve this problem.

This is will be my first build thread and I need some help.:bigsmile::bigsmile:

This is it for of day 1.

Happy forth of July

I am not sure if any of the flaw affects the ability of the seam to withstand the pressure. The void in the silicone gives me heebie-jeebies, though.

I dont know your arrangement with them, but I wouldnt use it, I would want it replaced. Silicone is all that holds a tank together and that is not a good situation for a new tank.

With an air bubble in it - it is structurally instable IMO.
I wouldn't do anything except get another tank. The tank is the CHEAPEST thing in this hobby. Yet the most important as far as security is concerned (water not getting out)
So for me I wouldn't except anything except a new tank without even a hint of air in the silicone, or a chip in the glass.
Thats just me though......

Ty just email me. He will replace it and will take around 2 weeks to deliver. So I'll be back in 2 weeks.
