My 150dd build

My wife sent me some pics last night looks like I got a cyano bacteria bloom going on now. I am not a big fan of using unnecessary chemicals in my tanks so I will be increasing flow and doing water changes to control the bloom. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Parameters have been stable for awhile and cyano outbreak has all but gone away so I figured it was time for a test piece of coral to go in.

I figure I will see how this piece goes for a month and when I get back from vacation in august I will start to introduce my corals that have been in friends tanks for awhile. Big thanks to all my fellow local reefers.

This toadstool leather he actually went out and bought for me cause mine decided to grow onto his aquascape. Must have been super happy and decided he didn't want to leave. Lol

These are some of the corals a friend brought me last weekend. He is breaking down his tank and gave me all that he thought would pull through. I will upload more if they make it. Most are bleached I think he had some alk issues.

Thanks Josh hoping the other corals pull through but not looking good.

Great build. I will be building a 150dd at the end of this year or early next year. I currently have a 29 gallon bio-cube. I love the cubes for the multiple perspectives of viewing. I've enjoyed reading about your buildings!!!

Quick update been super busy with work no good pics but have added some more fish I have added a midas blenny and 3 barnacle blennys. I lost my naso he/she got stuck in the rocks is the best I can figure. Would like to replace him in the future. All in all tank is coming along slowly but I am fine with that right now. Will try and get some new pics soon!
