Everything is adjusting well. Today my Seneye should be delivered and I can start testing PAR levels to know where to start the light acclimation process when the new lights arrive.

So what type of light do you have now? I hope you can show us a comparison shots of your corals under old and new light fixtures.

On the left 2/3 of the tank I am using the T5 fixture from my 90G. It a 6 bulb Teklight so it has decent quality individual reflectors. I use ATI bulbs and it has a mix of blue+, coral+ and purple+. On the right 1/3 of the tank I am using a 250W MH that I bought used when I got the tank. I think its a Hamilton Cayman fixture but I have no idea of the color of the bulb or the age of the bulb.
I will take some pictures over the next few days so that I have completed that task before the new lights arrive.
I don't have any duncan frags but I could easily frag one if you could be patient enough for it to have time to heal to make sure it was going to do okay. I have the perfect small colony to frag as it has several heads that have an exceptionally long branch and in the past the long branches have seemed to grow new heads not only at the top but also on the branch. The two smaller colonies I have started as single heads.

3 of the Lumentek 120s that reefradiance.com sells. I am really hoping they will ship by the end of this week. The Chinese National holiday week delayed everything. We are planning a couple of LED builds too - a retrofit in the hood of our 12G nano cube and a setup like pickupman66 & Harry's that will cover whatever tank I end up using to grow out frags.

We finally got the sump enclosure up. I put the pull handle and clasps on after this loc was taken. I still have to wire in the overhead lights and insulate it but that will go fast. Should be complete tonight.

We finally got the sump enclosure up. I put the pull handle and clasps on after this loc was taken. I still have to wire in the overhead lights and insulate it but that will go fast. Should be complete tonight.

I didn't want anybody to be able to see the top of it from the little deck at the door that goes into the house. It's not quite as big as it look in the picture, lol.
The cool part is that almost the whole front opens so I have access to the stuff inside. Always planning for the next upgrade. I think I will add that to my signature

Well my Hoeven's Wrasse decided today that a small tomato clown would be a good snack. I caught with it sideways in his mouth and bumped the glass to scare him away. The fish was obviously in poor shape when he let it go. I tried to net it but it managed to get into a crevice in the rock.
I went about my housework and when I came back about a half hour later the flower anemone over on that end of the tanks must have just eaten it. I could see the bright orange of its body just visible in the mouth of the nem. I got my phone immediately but by the time I got back to the tank the mouth was completely closed and the clown no longer visible. I did get a video of it closing up as it ate but can't post that.
I guess the upside is that the anemone got to eat and the stupid wrasse didn't.
