Hi! I've never posted on here before but I've always read the stuff the forum posts on facebook.
Here's a quick tank description:
Setup: 150 gallon 48Lx24Dx30H
100lbs of oolitic sand
~140lbs of rock (mix of several types)
HOB skimmer, 15W UV sterilizer (no name)
DIY LED setup, HOB filter made into refugium
no sump
Livestock:
Red Sea Sailfin Tang
Blue reef chromis
pencil streaked rabbitfish
blue hippo tang
purple pseudochromis
yellow tail damsel
yellow watchman goby
PJ cardinal
red firefish
paired coral banded shrimp
brittle starfish
Halloween hermit
electric blue hermit
the standard CUC
Corals: lots of acros and sps, lots of lps, not nearly as many zoas. Too many to list!

I also run a sumpless 100 gallon reef for years now and it does great. I do use a powerfull hob skimmer with mp40's for circulation. Sometimes i think that simple is a good way to maintain a reef. Sure the extra volumn is great but without the sump theres lest cost and it works.
