Hi all I just got my first coral ever it's an Eagle eye. Can you tell me alil about it in general. Also like where to put in tank and what type of flow it needs. Right now I put it in a pretty high flow spot but don't know if that's bad or good? Do they grow fast, do I need to do anything? Thank you so much.

I have my zoas all over as far as placement goes from low to high. I have the majority of mine in medium flow areas. They will grow fast. And do well i all reef lighting. If you are using MH or LED acclimate them to the intensity of the light

Thanks ak. I have a biocube 29 with the stock lighting. It has opened up pretty good since I brought it home from my lfs but looks to me like its getting alot of flow where it is. But guess that's ok

yep... mine does the same thing... got it placed and once it gets used to the amount of light... if the flow makes it happy, it'll open up all the time.
