my 1st frag

well guys i bit the bullet and fragged my first coral. it was a blue candy cane. the tentacles on the small ones are out already. wish me luck on these. i read it was easy but i didnt want to hurt them and it was very easy. maybe try a shroom next.

Way to go! Maybe on the first mushroom, start out with a smooth one. The hairy ones tend to be slimers when you cut them and sometimes will melt away. Talk about stink - yuck! The smooth ones are very forgiving of being cut into pieces. I've found that if I get a little of the mouth in each piece, they recover faster. Go for it!

thanx. i have a few smooth ones. i may do that next week. i have 4 green hairy ones that are beautiful and i really dont wanna touch. the candy canes look good so maybe it worked out ok. we want to come pay ya'll a visit once i get this new tank up and goin. may be a couple weeks tho. im gonna take it slow.
