Hello from Costa Rica!

So here`s a few pics of my aquarium. Still need a lot of work but I just recently finished setting up the filtration and will now focus on making the actual tank look nice and full of life.

105 G + 40 G Sump
Hydor Koralias + Smart Wave Controller (some new ones on the way to replace those)
AE TECH ETSS 800 XR Skimmer running with Blueline 70HD ( 1750gph, 39 HF )
Reef Octopus Bio Pellet Reactor
Current USA Orbit Marine Led Fixture 48"-60" - Wireless Ramp Timer Pro LED + a smaller one to fit the full tank lenght
DIY ATS Filter

Not nearly as cool as some I`ve seen here, but I`ll just let the photos tell the rest of the story...

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated, I`m just a newby :)

First off a BIG WELCOME to R2R nice to have you aboard. Reeftank looks real good and healthy, kind of miss my 'Softy Tank' for some compatible Corals that will add different color and shapes look into Yellow Sarcophyton (Fiji Leather/Toadstool) and Green Napthea or Sinularia. Do you do any of the collecting yourself ?

Cheers, Todd

Wow, that's gorgeous. I love the "forest" running down the centre of the mountain range. I've seen stuff done like that with fresh water tanks but never imagined you could aquascape with a saltwater tank! You have just opened up some interesting possibilities. :)

Welcome to R2R and the tanks look great!

Well heres an update after a few recent changes I made :)

I want an arch like that so bad it's rediculous. Great looking tank and a late welcome to R2R

I'm a late welcomer as well. Tank looks really, really nice! it might have been the angle, but that's one of the fattest blennies I've seen :)

Its been a while... I moved to a new house which was quite a challenge and opportunity to shuffle it up a bit. Heres what it loos like now... I'm loving it! I'm a bit into tangs in case you don't notice it :)

Looking good. I see you retired your algea scrubber. Did it not do what you wanted it to do?
