hello, new to R2R so i like to share my addiction. Been an addict for 3 years, first year was a 24g nuvo then upgrade to this current tank. Custom build 48x24x21"h. Its a simple setup with just sump and skimmer. Gravity drip kalk as ato with 8 bulbs ati and Reefbrite lumi.
What's your bulb combo on the ATI if you don't mind me asking?
Wow, great job. I'm totally inspired now. I have very close to your methods of supplements and nutrients control. How big of a skimmer do you want to move up too? I've got a 10" SRO-5000 on my 300 gallon system, 180 display.

My current skimmee is rated for 240g or so but im planning on upgrading my skimmer to a 500g rated skimmer. So its about 4x my water volume

No mag was never tested since i started the syste two years ago. I used to blindly manual dose mag base on what i feels the amount is right here snd there. No specific schedule. Each dose probably doesnt exeed 100ml. I know its kinda bad but i my corals seem happy. not until november last year is when i have it on the dosing pump dosing 50ml every other day. I inspect my tank and acro whenever i have the chance, usually it will tell me if something is off.

Yeah my alk in the morning and cal at night. I drip kalk 24/7 enough to keep up with evaporation. My potassium and mag is every other day inbetween alk and cal. Potassium and calcium is brightwell. Mag is esv, and alk is seachem.
