My 29 gal reef just turned 1yr!!

My reef tank just turned 1yr old a few days ago and I must say WOW, it has really transformed into something beautiful and what I strive for daily as a reefer. Through the highs and lows with bouts of extreme hair like algae covering everything the entire height of the tank which the sea hair completely defeated, to the cyano outbreak, and currently the aiptasia invasion which my latest addition the file fish is taking care of, and what I view as most importantly the switch from NSW to the red sea coral pro salt water which was really the final turning point leading to the positive changes that are taking place in my reef. Here's a small photographic journey of the past year.

Yes, so far, as you can see he has moved a few times and when he moved there it was after I made the change to a jebao cp-25 gyre style pump. I hope it stays there!

I put the finest Bose headphones on him, played some dead tunes, and prayed to the nem god's. Seems to have done the trick!! Or maybe I was the one wearing the headphones.

I got home today to find the file fish had eaten two my Miami eyes , so now my LPS is QT'd , word to the wise , don't get comfortable with a file fish and absolutely any LPS , not just trumpets and acans , everything is fare game to these guys!!!! On a good note he is certainly eating aiptasia!!
