In my science of water parameters testing this morning one thing came to mind about a tank being exposed to light like yours. Day light encourages carbon dioxide in your tank and contributes to a more stable PH which is good. On the other hand, mine is always under created light or night time PH which is consistently lower. 7.8-8.0. Interesting to share I thought :)

Well my couple of days of vacation didn't go to bad all considering and what did happen was in no way my friend who was watching my tanks fault. So I'm very greatful for all her help and the amount of caring she put into it. :) For the last 5 years the month of June has had a lot impact on me and my family and unfortunately until last June , the previous have been really hard.:( Now I am excited to say that it has been one year this month that I finally got the nerve to start my first saltwater tank, something that I have wanted to do since after the first time I put my face underwater with my mask and snorkel on that my younger brother had been telling me I should do it cause I would love it, if I'd just listen to him for once:rolleyes:. I sure wish he was around to see my first reef tank cause I'm sure he'd have one just like it or probably bigger, but it was 5 years today that he died instantly from an pulmonary embolism on his way to a 4 th of July vacation. :( We both had/ have such a love and respect for the ocean.and I miss him every day. And Well You know how sometimes your so afraid to say something out loud cause your afraid you'll jinx it? Well that's how I feel about this ... It has been 5 years this month that my husband has been in remission for his rare type of non hodgekins lymphoma !!!!!:):D:D:) ( those are very wide happy grins , face breaking grins to be exact) . There's a few more sad and gloomy June stories that fit in these last 5 years but I'll just leave it with the last happy one and hope that you all will keep your fingers crossed for us that it will always be in remission or even better , just plain ole GONE!:) . Thanks R2R for letting me join this wonderful group of people !!

How much stuff do you plan on packing in that tank?!?![emoji12] just kidding! Your tank looks awesome. Have you seen the new jbj 10 gallon? Looks kind of like the fluval edge? It's kinda cool honestly, I think I might have to get it. How have you been?
