Week 3-4.jpg

Weeks 3 and 4! A few rearrangements here and there but this was the general idea, Unfortunately lost the anemone due to my negligence, a rock slipped and crushed it. Learned my lesson for sure though.. More fish, Coral added, getting there!

Got my 55! Obviously bare as they come, Still only had the rocks from my 30, lighting from my 30, coral from my 30, but had an extra powerhead! Got a new filter, And some new live rock and the top of the post is the picture of where we are at now!

Looking good !!! Just a little constructive comment, you can cover or paint the back glass black color, it will hide the equipment's or make a sump to put the heater and other stuff on it.

Yeah i tried a static hold cover on the back didnt work out so well currently working on getting just a blue piece of construction paper haha

@yungreefer2410
I have 2 240GPH PH's, a 90 Gallon HOB Emperor 400, 2 Seastar 14000k White and 456 NM Blue light fixtures (One 14" One 36") And a standard glass thermometer and a topfin heater.
I also feed my tank BeneReef from Benepets once a week.

Where do you wanna go as far as equipment? Sump? or Hob? I personally can't stand the emperor's, too splashy and noisy for me

Im probably to go with a sump in the near future. My LFS can help me set that up i believe.

they can, but part of the experience is building it out yourself! This sort of plumbing is pretty straight forward as well. Only as complicated as you want it to be.

I havent fully decided what i want to do yet, im okay with the noise so i might just stick with it, unsure yet.

its for the 30" tank right? What kind of lighting are you thinking for the 48" tank you have now?

No no my lighting is done, i have 2 of those lights that i sent a link too. they're mounted together.
