@charliethetuna any updates on this beautiful reef!?
I will post some updated pictures soon.many .colonys have been getting out of hand and I am redoing certain parts .pulling out dead stuff that gets shaded inside the colony .u don't belive how big they get till u take them out its crazy .trying to clean it up .I've had a buddy come last week to help me.

My friend Joe (tusi) came over last saterday to help me clean up the aquascape alittle .many corals grew into large colonys and needed trimming also.removed anything that got shaded and died off ... trying to clean it up as well as make space ...

Awesome!! 2 great reefers working together! @TUSI has a beautiful tank too!

Beautiful tank. It looks like you have very few, if any, scratches on the acrylic. Are you just super careful or is not much of an issue?

There's a few scratches. Nothing crazy .but I am very carefull .I have the kit to take out scratches while the tanks full but I havent tryied it yet .I'm scared lol

Congrats! Definitely one of my favorite tanks!

what calcium reactor are you using? And what is your effluent flow rate?

Are you still running the sulfur denitrator? And do you run any other type of filtration like refugium?

definitely can learn a lot from you!

also very interested in how you can keep the corals that packed together and not have them shade or kill each other.

Thanks very much ..as far as reactors I do use the largest reef octopus calcium reactor .I have the effluent t coming out as a steady stream right before it breaks up ..the ph in the reactor is set for 6.68 if I need more alk I lower the number if asks getting to high I raise it .never really mess with the flow

Sulfer reactor is great I have a bunch of fish and with out the sulfur reactor my nitrates would be threw the roof

We all face the same issues when u pack a tank with corals .they will fight for space .for the most part I am constantly pruning and breaking up fights .some live in harmony but not many .its a constant battle .
