Im new to reef2reef but might as well start a tank build thread to remember my progress and get some input. A few months ago my wife told me were having a baby so i decided id start a reef tank in the office. The equipment is as follows:

40breeder tank
Restaurant clear bin (sump)
Prime 150 reef octopus protein skimmer
Apex jr
Diy sock holder
2 socks
Diy glass overflow
Waveline DC6000 return pump
BRS style carbon and GFO
Vortech mp10
Custom LED cannons
Smart ATO
DIY top off resevoir and dosing tank
3 BRS 1.1ml dosing pumps

I made the rockscape with epoxy and used a stainless steel restaurant equipment cart for the stand (had it laying around outside)

Let me know your thoughts!

I will post pics as soon as i figure this uploading thing out lol

I hope these upload

Thanks! The stand i had for a few years sitting outside our restaurant equipment store, most people didnt want it because it was divided on the inside so i decided to use it and took the time to take apart the divider (blood, sweat, tears) though after i finished it came out to fit great in the office! And since it is stainless steel it wont corrode which is great its also a roller cart so i can move it around the office if needed. What its missing is a grouding probe, if you touch the stand and make contact with the ground you will surely remember the electrifying experience [emoji14]

That rock work is awesome! You have a counterweight on that bad boy? if so, any pics of that? Im looking for ideas on a counterweight for an upcoming build.

Not really any counterweight, more like really light hollow rocks, and lots of glue, epoxy, ployurethane. Its more of an illusion and flotation than anything and hours of figuring it out
