Hi everyone, I'm new here and finally decided to join a reefing group. A little background, been into aquariums since I was a kid and mostly fresh water. About 5 years ago, I finally decided to start a saltwater tank from the help of a friend. Started with a 37 gal basic tank from Petco and had decent success but with lots of mistakes. Life goes on and I learned from them. After 2 years I moved and took a 2 year break from the hobby. After about a year of planning and saving, I bought a 50 gal cube to start my next build. Here we go...

Equipment list so far..

AI Hydra 26 HD
Vertex Omega 130 Skimmer
2x Ecotech Marine MP10
1Jebao WP10
Tunze Osmolator ATO
Sicce 4.0 Return Pump
Trigger System Ruby cube sump

Planning to get reactors, doser, and controller later on..

Gonna be doing a water test soon, wish me luck. Will update soon

Awesome and good luck ! I love my 50g cube so much only problem is my eyes are bigger than the tank lol. Keep us updated would love to see this progress :)

Plumbing done. Didn't realize how tight if the fit the skimmer will be in the sump.

Looks great. Good luck with your water test. The fun of stocking the tank will be coming soon now.

Nice set up......which adapter did you use to connect the return pump to the gate valve?

@Anirban, I think it's a male slip thread adapter? Then again Im not good with PVC fitting names lols

That looks awesome, too bad i don't have any shelf rock. I like how open it is

Got my sand in and aqauscape done. Turned out better than what I thought. Was planning to do a two island scape but didn't have much room.
