Yep 2 pop bottles and a air stone had all the stuff laid around so didn’t cost anything to set up . If it didn’t work I would of gone and bought one but at the moment no need. So when people say they can't afford equipment most of it you could make your self . It’s bubbling plenty of crap out the tank . And I am only using a stone air stone not wood still works great . I will post more pictures of the skimmer from inside the tank when lights come on

Small holes around the bottom
Air stone pulling water in and rises too the neck of the bottle. The arm on the side is returning the water back into the tank . And the enjoyment was drinking the juice first for the empty bottles you can not make a easier skimmer but works as good as air driven skimmers out of the shops

Agreed! I have a yellow tailed blue damsel in my tank because I wanted a splash of blue and it’s color really pops. Couple decades ago I had an orange tailed that, other then my maroon clown, was the most evil fish I ever had. But read good things about a few damsels on here and went with the yellow tailed.

I have a idea of crowding to stop aggression at the moment they are just going about the business . Let’s see if it can work at least we will know. I have pushed it with fish for the moment lol I will put a second amount after Xmas
