I started my fish 13 day ago. I started to see brown stuff on my crush coral and some of my rock but not it starting to go away. I cut my light time back and add more rock to it today but I think I add to much rock to it.

Congrats and welcome to the addiction!

Welcome to R2R!! Looks like you are off to a good start. Have you added anything to start the cycle? Keep an eye on the parameters for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. The brown stuff is most likely diatoms and just a normal part of setting up the tank.

Looks great, you'll most likely go through a couple different kinds of algae as your tank matures, it's very normal just take it day by day and try not to add livestock too fast. Great start though and welcome to R2R!

hey did a water test and ph was 8.0, ammonia was 0, Nitrite 0 and nitrate was 0

Have you introduced anything to cause ammonia in the tank like a piece of raw shrimp?

we have 2 Nassarius Snail and 1 Emerald Crab to the tank yesterday. i thinking about it i should of not did that bc i add the last of the die rock today
