This tank has been up and running for two years. The live rock was transferred from a 40 breeder I had setup for 3 years with soft and lps corals. The current corals were added in July of ’16. My goal is to hold steady until I upgrade my tank to a 75 with no internal overflow. I absolutely hate my current tank because of the center overflow. I will discuss some of the challenges I have had growing coral in future posts. My goal is to upgrade size slightly and go with an overflow box like the eshopps eclipse series.

Sounds like a great setup! Only thing I can suggest is forgetting about the tang... they should have a few feet of swimming space. Unless this just a temporary home and you upgrade in the future ;)

Sweet Build! How do you like the T-5 Retro Fits? I thought about getting some.
They are built well and I've liked them so far. I had an Orphek Atlantik v2.1 for almost two years and decided to try LED/T5. Couldn't find a hybrid I liked, so I did like others and just put some kessils together with the retro kits from Hamilton. These are the ones without the LED strips.

I run the T5's from 14:00 - 18:00hrs and the ramps on color and intensity for the kessils are below. Orange line is color and blue line is intensity.
