Cannon EOS 70D. I have been playing with the setting with the live shoot. No filter, I have a few and they really did nothing for the shoots.

The reason I asked is I need to filter my phone camera. I so wish I could take good pictures of my reef!

Does your phone have settings for light/color like cloudy, florescence, tungston? If so try cloudy, it will help a bit.
EDIT: I usually also edit my pics after with Photoshop adding an orange photo filter
