figured its about time to share what i spend waaay too much time staring at. Its a 48x24x16 tank with external overflow. no fancy equipment but it all does the job. i have a 40 gallon breeder home made sump, bubble magnus nac6 skimmer, brs gfo reactor, rio hf return and wp 25 pushing the water around in tank. running a 48inch 6bulb ebay t5 with ati bulbs. specifically 4blue+, 1 purple+ and an actinic, not in that order.

tank has been running since late February of this year. had two anemones go through the pump so lets say i had to buy new Sps a few times. i started off in a rush and used dry rock without cleaning it first and marco sand that felt like it took a millions years to settle. Battled with coral not coloring up for a while until i picked up the gfo reactor to control the phosphates probably slowly leaching from the dry rock. color is finally returing so i am now semi okay with sharing.

i am a zoa/paly junky so the tank is primarliy that. Pictures are as good as i could get them on my iphone 4. Enjoy!

welp after a mini I guess I would call it crash and all my zoas bleaching. I figured why not rearrange a bit. Went way back to basics. 10 gallon water change every two weeks. Removed skimmer and added more live rock in the sump with large refugium holding 3 types of macro growing strong and lit by 2bulb t5 on reverse cycle of the tank.

Got rid of almost all of my sps to concentrate on the zoa/palys. Collection is starting up again so no new zoa/paly pic but hope you like the new rockwork.
