Nice growth! At what point did you add your SPS frags? I'm starting up a new 120g SPS reef and I'm inspired by your results here.

Thank you ! the was filled with water 10 months ago...
I stated adding frags of SPS approximately 6 months ago ...

Looks like you're having more success in your new tank than I am in my 2.5 year old 40g AIO.
I think it's related to experience...I'm in this hobby for 15 years , and made a LOT (!!) of mistakes in the past....in the current tank I simply avoiding from those mistakes

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. I do get a little discouraged sometimes, but my tank looks pretty good and I can't complain too much. It's my first tank, so I'm learning as I go! Been doing a TON of research lately. Hoping it all pays off for my second tank! I'm sure the larger water volume helps too.

Most important this is STABILITY. it's really doesn't matter which method your stick with...simply keep doing that and that's it . the corals will get use to it and eventually will grow and glow

Some hairy mili and staghorn ,
Only with T5's without LEDS ! (ATI power module 8×54w)
Happy reefing everyone

how are you doing this? meaning, water changes, dosing? Very impressive! I am surprised that you are running GHL without using the mitras. I guess I didnt realize a person could use any lights, with the profilux makes sense. Very beautiful!

Beautiful tank and corals! Great to see another countryman reefer in this forum! Can you share what is your water change regime? And do you carbon dose at all?

Thank you everyone !
I'm doing 10% water change every week ,
Red sea blue bucket salt.
I'm dosing NP bacto balance for no3 and po4 control.
I was thinking about GHL mitras, but stick with T5's because I really believe that spectrum and spread of this bulbs is suppier (please don't make arguments about LED's VS T5's...)
Bulbs combination are :
6 blue plus
1 coral plus
1 purple plus

With the 10 bulbs fixture it will be different, will adding actinic and giessmann 6500k bulb.
For some reason I can upload Short video of some SPS

Another try ...

Also , I'm dosing :
2 ml NP bacto balance.
5 ml of red sea colors (each one , trace elements)
70 ml of Alkalinity
30 ml of Calaium
10 ml of Magnesium

I'm also feeding my fish very heavy and tuned my skimmer to wet skimming

I'm dosing NP bacto balance for no3 and po4 control.
That should keep you safe from 0 NO3 & PO4
I Do not do any water changes and have many fish, so NO3 & PO4 are never 0
