My 90 gallon build

I decided to start a saltwater tank after only having freshwater. I was looking for a 75 gallon and was lead to a deal on a 90 gallon. I came up with the idea of mounting it in the wall. Reading up on setup, I seen that a sump is a better way to go, so I picked up a 30 gallon tank to make my sump.
The tank is up and running to get cycled. I still need to pickup the Skimmer, power heads, lights and a dosing pump. But with my tax return, I’ll be able to get the missing equipment.

I decided to rescape again while trying to keep rocks from the glass. Only the rock on the left side is touching the glass. I re-arranged the right side and it no longer touches.

Better! Yeah, a good rule to live by is what do you want for your tank in the future, and take actions accordingly without having a heartache in the future. Once rock is in there, and you have coral growing on it, it's really hard to move rocks around to re-scape because some coral really needs to be in certain areas of the tank, and they will be on the rocks already. Also keep in mind maintenance on the glass and walls, you'll need to stick your hand there and a scraper to clean etc, so space is necessary. And last, when flow circulates around the whole tank and there are no dead spots, it eliminates collecting of detritus etc. Looking good.
