I was an avid hobbyist for many years before I had to give it all up about 15 years ago due to finances, but I recently got back into the hobby and there is a whole new world of info and technology at my fingertips and I love it.
I bought a used system from my LFS and set it up back this spring, its been running for about 6 months and is doing well.
Equipment
2 x EcoTech Radion XR30W LEDs
2 x EcoTech Vortec MP40QD Powerheads
Reef Octopus Classic 152 Internal Protein Skimmer
Unknown in-sump return pump (vendor info is missing)
DIY Macro Algae reactor
ReefLink Wireless Controller (controls lights and powerheads)
Still trying to find the best combination of light, flow, and nutrients to get the most growth.
