Decided to do a build thread…unfortunately I thought about it 1 & 1/2 years into the tank running. So I guess I’ll do a picture dump with dates to show a timeline of things. Gonna search through my phone and get some photos in order and post shortly


Current Tank overview. 90g sps dominant reef

Started in May of 2019 with a diy stand and canopy with a basic 90g I got for free (and resealed with black silicon) and a 29g diy sump(which I later upgraded to the trigger triton sump but have no pictures of)

Big gap of no photos

my extremely aggressive black clown slowly killed my midas blenny and 3 anthias I can get rid of it though because I’ve had her for 6 years so I guess I won’t add new fish

looking great.
 
Added an ozone generator this month really cleared up the water. Bought 24v dc solenoids from McMaster-Carr and wired them to a apex 1link cable so now the air line to my skimmer automatically switches between co2 scrubber and ozone generator as necessary. Loving the new level of water clarity though
