So I have been battling what looks to me like dinoflagellates in my 55 gal and turf algae in my 28gal nano cube. I have tried everything under the sun to try and get rid of both algae in both tanks and nothing has worked. I even resorted to peroxide dosing for almost a month to no prevail. So I've done a lot of research and came across this stuff called vibrant at $37 bucks I figured it's worth a shot before I tear down tanks and loose a butt ton of money. On 8/11/17 I dosed my tanks for the first time....here are the pics of what my tanks looked like to start with I will be taking pics and updating often.

I tried vibrant and hated it. I had a massive outbreak of dinos after using it. IME it won't help with dinos (which aren't actually algae). I was finally able to beat dinos, but basically I stopped dosing everything except for Dr. Tim's Waste Away (I used 1 bottle), and I began to feed more than I had been (I know it sounds antithetical to what you would expect, but that's what worked in my tank). Best of luck!

This is one week of dosing vibrant I have been dosing 6ml 2x per week. May not look like it in the pictures but the Dinos are finally going away.
