Well your nem looks healthy and happy. Have you seen the clowns nibbling on the tentacles ?

No, haven´t noticed, but I will pay closer attention. The small clown was added recently (3 months ago). Thanks for stopping with advice.

How aggressive is your flow? Is it possible that tentacles are getting twisted in the flow until they are cut off? I have no experience yet with anemones but think I've read about this happening to others.

I would say very agressive, but has been like that for months. I also read tha when researching and turned down the WM on her side. Still she lost an arm over the night...->which makes me think if something is nipping on her at nights as James M suggested.

I'll make some nocturnal peeks...

Did you ever get to the bottom of this I have a nem that looks like it’s had tentacles damaged but not seen evidence of them around the tank ?

I've seen my clowns bite the anemone and pull bits of tentacles off. Not sure why they do this but the nem doesn't seem to care

Hi @Idaknow15, since the posting I lowered the flow a bit and seems that it made the trick, I haven’t seen more pieces of tentacles over the tanks. Not other change on the tank. The anemone host two clowns and they seem not to bother her.

ps. After turning the flow down, i got a lot of polyp extension in acros, hammer, torch, and gonis.
