Came home to see the anemone all twisted up. He's only been in the tank for about 2 weeks now. This is my 1st anemone and I'm not sure if this is normal behavior.

Turn down your flow.

The flow is actually really low at the moment. I have an MP 10 and MP 40 in my 90 gal. I put some pantyhose over the the sides of the power head until I could finish building an anemone guard out of some eggcrate and gutter guard. The pantyhose definitely reduced my flow quite a bit

Seen this many times and had this myself w/ a big crispa once.
It's just the way the flow is hitting it.
You can try to adjust how your flow hits it, like angle better, but keep flow up at what is normal for you.

Right now just untwist it, and it's possible it will kind of strengthen or stiffen up to keep from twisting, my crispa did eventually, but I had to untwist it several times before it did.
