Hi !!! I have 2 anemones in last 3 months and now i have totally 9 of them. Today my biggest one just split into 3 if i'm not confuse and other split into 2. I was wondering if that a good sign or not, i usually feed then 2times a week with reefroid and every 2 to 3 weeks i will feed them some raw shrimp.

They split when stressed, So there not liking where they are right now. Cutting back on feedings will help.
need more info on the tank though

it a 110g tank that been up and running almost 2 years now, and all the parameter are in check with
Cal: 470
Alk: 9.4
Phosphate: 0.05ppm

I just start dose the tank with ATI essential-pro, after switching from BRS

try cutting back on feeding them, too much could cause splitting but on the good side you could give them to other reefers or sell them.

lol...The fun burst also split ?

lucky ! Got your self a money making machine..lol

Have you tried an orange filter when taking the pics

There are strains of btas that grow big, and then there are splitters. It has nothing to do with stress in majority of cases.

Do not feed them anymore, unless you want to end up with this lol. And even then there are no guaranties

that would be too much, so any idea of how to not let them split ? also do you know why some of them got bubble and some aren’t?

They will do what they want. Just do not feed anymore. Nobody knows why they bubble.

i always though feed them more often would make it grow bigger, i will cut back on feeding now

Over feeding is a trick used by many to induce a split, and most of the time we see splits when they are stressed, new tank/params, feeding too big and too much.

While there may or may not be some that just split constantly, the fact you are feeding heavy and both your nems are splitting my guess is from that stress.

Stop on feeding and see what happens would be my suggestion.

Really light being their main source of energy, you could never spot feed and they'd be fine, but if you do spot feed do small easily digestable foods like mysis, and only a couple times a week

I have a few bubble tips in one of my tanks and my rainbow splits pretty regularly and my candy corn and pink not so much. They all look very healthy and happy though so from what I've read and experienced they can split because they are either stressed or very happy. My rainbow grows to a certain size and then splits into two or three and the splits always look healthy as well. Think its just by chance though. I treat all of them the same.
