My anemone killed my clown today

To be fair, my clown is sick from brooks or velvet. I watched him swim low and accidentally touched the carpet anemone (has not hosted this clown) and once he touched the anemone, the carpet flapped trapped it immediately. It was crazy to watch. I was able to get him out by squirting water on anemone with baster, but the clown died shortly after.

I had a big LTA nem that killed 1 clarkii clown that was 4 yrs old. If the clowns are sick or ill the nems can kill them due to the clowns lack of defenses they have for. My clarkii was swimming weird the day before and not eating.. next day i found it dead in the LTA.

Was likely weak and overtaken by Nem. One of the drawbacks of the hobby but must be accepted as a natural part of nature/sea
