my anemone might be dying plz help

I’m relatively new to the hobby (around 2 months now) I purchased the ocean free 63L and let it cycle for 5 weeks then I added 2 clownfish and an anemone I asked the guy at the shop if it’s gonna be fine in a new tank he said it was ok, so I acclimated them and it’s been a week since. The clownfish are doing ok but unfortunately I can’t say the same for the anemone, when I first got it, it looked very healthy and it stayed looking healthy for around 5 days until I started noticing that it’s foot was starting to stop sticking I got worried and searched online and that’s when I found this site, now my anemone is barely sticking to the glass I tested the water for nitrite, nitrate and pH everything was within range my temperature is set to 26 C and salinity is 1.025 now the water started to smell very odorous and the water is very cloudy and my anemone started resting on the sand and it’s tentacles started to deflate and look a little white. I would really appreciate any advice how can I help my anemone. Thx on advance.

Your tank is not stable enough to keep that animal. Please research care topics for any animal you wish to keep. Best bet is to find a friend that can take it and properly care for it.

Give your tank eight months to a year to stabilize, and when you can keep SPS coral, you can try an anemone again.

5 week old tank is kinda young to be keeping a difficult anemone. The LFS irresponsibly gave you bad advice. I’d try to take it back to the LFS and see what they can do for you or as previous poster said, have a friend take them in until your tank in mature enough to keep anemones. Those look like a cipro treatment would be in order to save them. When you’re ready for anemones, try a tester anemone such as a rock flower. They’re very hardy and beautiful.

You can blame your LFS for saying it should be fine in a new tank, cause no, it should not have gone into such a new tank.

There is a lot of research involved in this hobby for success, your going to need to do a lot of reading, and upgrading your test kits also, API master test kit is not sufficient..... thats just the start

Didn’t catch the odorous part. You’re at risk of loosing the fish also if any of the 2 nems die.
