My Anemone split 5 times and need advice to control them

My idea is to get small tiles or rock rubble and temporarily glue them around the nem and then blast it with the PH to get it to move onto one of the tile and then remove the tile with the nem attached.

I was, but have since stopped direct feeding. The fist 6 mos or so from tank set up I had some issues dialing in parameters..... I read an article that anemones some times split when stressed. I chalked it up to that... also when I first put it in the tank it some how got over my over flow and went into my ref in the basement . I could not find it for a week but it split after I put it back in the main tank

When I set up the Reef scape I zip tied many of the pieces together so they would not shift I position the PVC tubes as close to the head of the anatomy as possible I will let everybody know how it turns out

Typically most common reason for excessive splitting is due to stress, and that can be just a change in params, not necessarily bad param numbers.

Over feeding or feeding too large of foods can also stress them into splitting, and I would avoid silversides completely just fyi.

I like this PVC trick, I'll be curious how it goes, good luck to you.

;Sour All attempts failed I just gave up ...... I did eventually catch one by stacking rubble rock on it until it came to the top of the rubble pile then just remove that rock..... however I set it in a bucket in the tank overnight and he escaped LOL For now they are all safely away from my corals so I am just going to let them be they haven’t spoke for sometime

I had similar in the past. Splitting like crazy and stinging everything. Finally I pulled them one by one and gave them away. Enough of stinging corals for me
