I now have fours H.mag anemone.they have been in my tank for 2 months.I love them so much.I got four H.Mag at first but one got into the wavemaker and it led to death of half my fishes including yellow tang, big fan tang ,nigertrigger...still keeping 3 carpet anemone.I feed them once or twice a week and they are behaving quite well .I already know that H.Mag likes high light and random strong flow which I think I got them satisfied(my light is 180w led and 2 39wT5,2 24wT5).But for the better care i I wanna know what level of water quality H.mag demands such as KH or meg ,cal.and anything that shoule be concerned.

Your anemones look great!

IME with magnifica and various carpet anemones, magnifica require the cleanest water. I don't think any of them need specific values for elements other than what's in typical salt water. Just make sure that your pollutant levels don't get too high--I accidentally killed one of my magnificas by leaving it in a tank that got too dirty. Once I noticed that it wasn't doing well, I moved it to a QT tank but it was too late.

Are your magnifica splits or individual acquisitions?

Can you share some full tank shots? I would love to see all of the anemones!

sorry to hear your loss and thanks for your info.I won't worry that my tank got too dirty because I do water change almost everyday[emoji16]. all my magnificas came as individuals . I can't take a full tank shot because of the liverock placement.here's some tank vedio link that can show my full tank.

Great job. The anemones look awesome.
As far as cal, alk, mag..... The anemones aren't overly concerned about them. Just keep them steady and within normal ranges and the anemones should be fine.
Water quality, as far as cleanliness goes, is very important. Especially for about the first year. Keep PO4 and NO3 low, keep up on water changes, and keep fresh carbon in the system. This will help keep down the possibility of infection as the anemone settles in. It will also help to keep down allelopathic substances in the water.

Nice anemone.
Now that you have very nice healthy anemones in your tank, be careful when you add new anemones. Make SURE that new ones are healthy and adequately QT before going in.
Magnifica and Gigantea are my favorites.

Your tank is really nice and I love the anemones!

How old is your tank? How soon did you add your first one and do you have any advice?

I am setting a new tank up and am reading many posts saying tank should be about a year old before I add anemone...

That sucks that you lost one in your wave maker. It’s happened to me as well...not good
As for your anemones, they are awesome! I love them because they are so diverse and with a host pair of clowns...priceless!
Stable water conditions, clean water, medium flow, target feeding a couple times a week and intense light and you will be enjoying them for a very long time.

thanks !my tank is 2 years old now. I added these anemones just 2 months ago.I think that theory about anemones should be added after a year old really makes sence because in my tank 's first year I truly can't keep anemones alive even BTA wouln 't make it. ....

Yikes, bought 5 of them. In Aus you might see one or two in a year at LFS and pay $500 to $800 each

wow !why is the h.mag nem's price so exaggerate in aus ?I bought these H.MAGs which originate from Vietnam(maybe tailand )just for $50 each. But I had to wait for them cause they don't really come often.about 3 or 4 times a year

We call that "Australia Tax", it's brutal on reefing stuff as the hobby is small here and the import duties are rediculous. It's scary to take on a Mag at the $500+ price tag. For example, I'm looking at getting a pair of Maxspect Gyres 250 (they don't have the new models here yet) which are $700AUD, in the U.S. the new model 350 is $350USD / $500 aud :(

That said we have the opposite with Corals generally (excluding the Mag), $20-$30 AUD (~ $15-$20 US) for SPS frags is the general price and LPS, I pay about $20USD for torches, hammers, frogspawn etc. I've seen some insane prices for Aussie/Indo corals on this site - 10 to 20x what we can get them for.

Good luck with your Mags, I might have to leave them on my dream list I think

Wow.
I love Magnifica and Gigantea. I think Australia do have Gigantea. I guess you don’t have to pay the import tax on Gigantea.

Correct, import tax on equipment only. I believe its illegal to import corals into Aus so we have to live with local collection (and frags) which isn't such a burden given the massive selection available (we have Aus Mags too). I imagine collection is very limited, coupled with poor survival from collection to LFS raises the price. Not necessarily a bad thing being super expensive, means only the really serious reefers will attempt to keep them, vastly improving their chance of survival.

We can get 'designer zoas' which must either be local caught look a likes or smuggled in (lol, getting an image of someone getting caught at airport security with a Sunny D down their pants)

thank you, bro.I just think I won't be able to do reefing if I am in Aus cause I would be frightened by the price [emoji23].now corals in china has risen in price too due to the shut down of the indo-reef but still be affordable for us. just last week I saw some very big and beautiful blue and green giganteas are only sold for 280RMB,H.MAG for 350RMB .that's really cheap compared to those in AUS.[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
