My angel needs help!!!

My angel has very bad hlle for a while but as of now the base of his fins are turning white like around his fins. I don’t have any pictures and I will try to get some but please help

Pictures, taken under white (not blue) light would really help. While Zebrasoma tangs with HLLE develop fin erosion, it is less common with angelfish, I'm just worried something else might be going on.

That does seem to be the same type of lesion as HLLE, I've just never seen it at the base of an angel's dorsal like that. Other than providing the best nutrition you can and not using carbon, there isn't much you can do for this I'm afraid.

Okay well thanks for your help I will do that and I need to take my car in out any way. Also I wasn’t taking about the dorsal fish. I was talking about his pectoral fin.

Oh, sorry. I was looking at the white at the base of the dorsal. I’m struggling to see any issue at the base of its pectoral fin in the picture
