I shifted to aquaforest a month back. I figured out it was cheap (this was my major reason for shifting from Zeovit) and easy to do. I will try to make this thread a log book for my development. I will try to update it monthly and incase something interesting happen I will update that too.

I gradually started using Aquaforest reef salt with my earlier salt mix Tropic marin pro. I still use mix of both (60:40 AF+TMP). I initially dosed BioS and ProbioS with NP bio for 2 weeks and then stopped dosing BioS. My system was almost absorbing 1-2 dkH each day so I started dosing 1+2+3 each day. I also dose Coral A and Coral V twice a week 1 drop for my total 50Gal water volume. I generally dont feed my corals but for my fish I use LRS fishfrenzy and coral frenzy once a day and some flakes twice a day.

I run two little fishies reactor with Phosban media and activated carbon. My light is T5+Hydra26. The T5 is a custom made two bulb system running one Giesemann Aquablue Coral and ATI Purple Plus driven by ATI dimmble ballast. There are 2 hydra 26 over my 30inch long tank.

My other current tank parameters:

Salinity-1.025
pH-7.95-8.25
dKH-7.2-7.6 (Hanna)
Calcium-480 (salifert)
Magnesium-1400 (salifert)
Potasium- 435 (salifert)
No3-1-2ppm (red sea)
Phosphate- 0 (Hanna)

I will post pictures of the system and sump tomorrow but for now I will start with some coral pictures.

Following as I am very interested in the Aquaforest products. Looking forward to seeing some pics!!!!

Edit: As I hit post reply your photos posted! Nice looking sticks you got there. Looks like your getting great PE! Are you liking the AF products. I'm curious as to why your doing a mix of salts.

Here you go with pictures..... I will try to follow growth closely and report any change I see...I will post more pictures tonight.

@fragit thanks for your kind comments.

Yes, the polyp extension is great as well as colour. I am doing the transition very slowly so may be by next month end I will fully shift to Aquaforest reef salt. I am currently dosing the vitamin and amino acid half the recommended dose. The guidelines are easy to follow and you can choose to follow either easy 1+2+3 method or individual element to supplement and maintain element balance. Above all my little ones are loving it. But if you are using a salt with high alkalinity then slowly introduce the AF reef salt as its low in kH like 7.5-8.

Today I was doing my weekly cleanup and saw the beautiful colour of these guys. So its time for topdown picture update...

Interesting! Will be following along. Thank you for taking the time to post up your results!

I started changing over to @Aquaforest in the beginning of February
running with
reef salt
1+2+3+
dosing
Pro bioS
component A,B,C
Phosminus
I was dosing the NP Pro and switch to biopellets but might dose a half dose of NP Pro to see what happens. I feed heavy so my nitrates are always high

I noticed that after two weeks my corals look so much better, and using the 1+2+3+ my parameter balanced out without guessing how much to dose and mix Ca, Mg, Kalwasser to keep things balanced.
Very nice tank

Since last 15 days my SPS went from vertical growth to horizontal growth. So, currently all of them are encrusting at a very high rate. Also I use 1+2+3 but I figured out that my system suddenly shifted its speed on using Alk. But I think I can balance it out. I started dosing some Potassium and Fluorine since last 72 hours. Will see how this effect the growth and colouration.

I am in week two of complete transition to Aquaforest. I am having a similar remarkable experience. I had habitually been killing acros. I have seen color and polyp extension that I have NEVER seen before. I'm telling you this stuff works!

AF products are just like KZ products which I was using earlier but KZ products are far more costlier than these if you follow their full programme. So logically it should work but my catch here is to find a better cheaper way. I still dont use their Phosminus or Carbon as I dont think that will really make a difference over my BRS high performance ones.
