Let me start by saying if you have anything besides praise for my aquascape keep it to yourself because I already cemented these things together ;Happy. I’m just kidding. This was a family project where everyone from my six year old niece to my mom helped.

We took this:

And turned it into this:

Some really interesting pieces in the mix. The final result came out very cool. Nice protrusions and angles, looks like it will get good flow throughout too. Form and function.

I think it looks great, very nice indeed!

I love rock scapes that have lots of swim-throughs! I also like the amount of movement and dimension you get with variety of shapes and sizes!

My only question is filtration... Do you have significant amount of live rock for the sump to provide filtration, or are you using a different biomedia?

Thanks for the kind words. When I decided I wanted lots of swim-throughs and unobstructed flow I bought a bunch of marine pure blocks for my sump. I just don’t know how many I actually need to provide sufficient surface area. My tank is 180g 72x24x24 so I’m starting with two blocks for now. One day I’ll get water in her.

Looks really good.....good job :) If I had any suggestions, it is just to make sure the large arch isn't dead center in the tank....even if it is a few inches to the left or right. Can't tell from the picture if that is the case or not.
