I had the macro lens out today.... I took a bunch of pics, but Ill drip feed them over the next month, as Im now using Tinypic.... which takes for ever to upload..
This variant of Acropora microclados sp., lacks the 2 tone yellow/pink coloration that our typical Australian strawberry shortcake displays, this one has a green base, with white, pink and blue throughout the stem and corallites.

The biopellets have been online for around 6 months now i guess.
My tank always had 0.00 nitrate which gives you very pale colors.
I initially employed biopellets to provide detectable nitrates (biopellets actually produce some nitrates in tank).
This has worked with great result and now nitrates always just barely detectable, 0.01, instead of 0.00
Coral colors are far better IMO at this level.

Hi there Josh, Biopellet reactor is in my first sump compartment, and my skimmer is in my return compartment. In between these 2 is a refugium.

I run 10 bulbs, all ATI brand, but I wouldn't hesitate to try another brand either, its just ATI are cheaper than KZ for me lol..
