My ball valve has oil in it

I just picked up a polypropylene ball valve by "Green Leaf". They're supposedly a big name in the fertilizer industry, and I've heard that there stuff is comparable in quality to Banjo. The ball has oil on it. Is this common for valves? Is it a big deal? Can I just wash the valve with soapy water, then assume the rest will dissipate during cycling?

Rinse it out with dish liquid then Ro-di water and it will be fine..

This happens when they put the Injection molds back into use after a repair or plate change . Sometimes from a mechanical failure such as hydraulic hose. I have received this like this before..
