Against the better judgment of everyone on here, I fell in love w a beautiful thick swaying patch of GHA in my QT and intentionally introduced it to my DT. Didn't realize it would grow in clumps. Thought it would spread outwards like GSP. Seriously kicking myself. So, rock formation on 1 side has been removed, scrubbed, and is in another tank that's blacked out. Wish me luck

I like green algae too. I have a fish only system with no desire for the algae free white sand look.

Anyway, you need a clean up crew to eat algae, otherwise, you will drive yourself crazy scrubbing and dumping in additives.

Agreed. The algae was beautiful in high flow areas but, as you can see from the pic, not so great elsewhere. What clean you crew will eat them? I got a lawnmower blenny but it died in qt after just a few days :(

Focus on trochu and turbo snails. Also I am trying vibrant now on my reef.
