Looks like a battlefield, like the corner of my hermit crab, one snail house for each day of the week.
The toadie looks sweet, nice extension on those polyps.

LOL! True I like to have lots of extra shells for them but snails do die and I don’t take the shells out since the hermit crabs like them.

I have added empty shells purposely too but I really do need to replenish the snail and hermit crab stock this weekend lol!

Don't worry...my sandbed is littered with empty shells but the hermits just go for the life ones. Go figure.

Are you sure it’s a toadstool and it’s alive still? Where is it in the tank? Parameters?
