Made a pilgrimage to my favorite LFS this morning, picked up a nice little frog spawn for only $15 out of their bargain tank (picture coming soon ) also picked up a pouch of Pods and some calibration fluid for my refractometer.. I love that place but my favorite sales associate that I have known for years no longer works there and the current staff are not as friendly or knowledgeable, just makes me sick

My new little frog spawn, he was very angry yesterday after I broke him off the algae covered plug he was on and scrubbing him thoroughly with a stiff brush Opened up at first light this morning and seems to be happy, pic taken this morning under LED’s my T5’s hadn’t fired up yet

Thanks guys! Not happy with the ceramic acan island even though it’s getting covered with coralline it looks to unnatural.. I’ll probably be replacing it with a flat rock or individually mounting them around the tank at some point.
