Addie is so adorable! You can just see her curiosity! They totally get squinty eyed when they are frustrated.

He was tired of me blocking him from crawling out of his bath. I have always thought he gets squinty eyes when he is grumpy about something. And he used to tilt his head like a puppy when you talked to him.
Randals new enclosure is way too natural and he runs away most of the time when you try to pick him up. He used to just let ya pick him up. I think he figured out that I wont pull him out and i cant lift off his roof.

OMG this is so funny! that’s exactly what “P”’s her off, she wants to explore when I have her out of her inclosure and if I keep trying to stop her she gets mad. in addition to giving me that look she will dig her sharp little claws into me just for good measure.. lol! She also tilts her head when I talk to her.

Go for it! Get a baby if you can and a private breeder Vs pet store is best.. be ready for a long commitment as they can live up to 20 years or more.

Fresh supplies.. I’m going to start running small amounts of carbon periodically to help remove any harmful substances that may be building up in my system.. the lady’s in the house use an acetone based nail polish remover in an adjoining room along with spritzing perfumes and such which has me worried about contaminates building up faster than my water changes can keep them in check..

I use a mix of ROX and GFO in a single reactor, so much easier to deal with

Yes just using small amount (4tsb) in a mesh bag and thats dropped it in my filter sock replacement cup, going to run it for 3 days then toss.. I will repeat this every couple weeks. Don’t have issues with it floating.
