Damage on Venom.. anyone have advice on cutting or maybe a dab of CA on wound?

Despite the rough week tank still looking good, moved my hammer and mounted it to my rock on left, I like it but it’s blocking my “chia” skull.. lol, I will be moving the skull shortly I also mounted my grape coral where the hammer initially was.

One of my recent additions out of the bargain bin, this was in rough shape with what appeared to be only one healthy mouth but it has really turned around in the last few weeks! snagged this for only $9.99

Not a big head dendro but it’s really nice..

someone just posted the same thing, saw his emerald rip the head off a small Duncan.. I’m wondering if the one I pulled is even a emerald.. looks like one but when I shined light on him it’s claws and arms where blue with streaks of purple? I’ve never seen one look like that, going to check my others tonight and see if there’s a difference.

I will admit to snickering at people in the past that have blamed their emeralds on coral destruction.. loI I may have just got a bad “seed” but I will continue to keep them with caution

All good so far, not much growth yet but I can probably blame myself for that.. lol, My Alk is all over the place and I changed nutrition going into tank because Im getting a little more algae than I would like however most have just about encrusted the little ball of epoxy and they are holding their color so at least they are doing something

Hard to get a clear close up picture with my iPad but you can see the pink tip has encrusted the little ball of epoxy..

It's good that you're seeing encrusting. Most new SPS I get take a few months to settle in and then I look over and realize that they're doing something!

Beautiful day so I was able to open up the house for most of it.. My tank never looked better! PH shot up early and didn’t start dropping until around 10:00 PM makes me want to do an external fresh air intake.
