My po4 is solid at .19

No3 came down from 35ish to 5 in 2 months and hasnt moved. Nerve racking.

as you probably know I have been struggling to get my N & P up from zero for the last year, not something I test that frequently but with my recent abundant algae growth I discovered my Po4 had shot up but my No3 is still at zero which is potentially a recipe for disaster. this will be a little tricky and I need to move slowly with the nitrates to prevent a massive algae outbreak

Numbers basically.. ATM I’m a little nervous with the imbalance of my N & P. I honestly wouldn’t be worried about my nutrients but I find I have to dump lots of food and do lots of spot feeding to keep my corals happy, hopefully If I can get my nitrates & phosphates where I want them corals will require less feeding and I can also start pushing up my ALK, I’m currently holding it at about 7.5 because of low nutrients.

Sure glad the holidays are over I’m beat! My maintenance has been lacking so the tank is a hot mess but working hard at turning it around. the hair algae has taken it’s toll on my NPS gorgi’s they are like magnets with that stuff ;Facepalm

Spent most of the day yesterday working on it, not sure it looks any better.. lol ;Troll

My poor scoly has been damaged again, another hole in almost the exact same place as the last time :mad: I have another one of those red crabs.. I spotted it the other day but on the other side of tank, going to be tough getting this one though

I have milked my t5’s for 15 months of service, thinking potential frequency shift may be contributing to algae issues.. going to take the whole fixture down, clean reflectors and vacuum out the LED housing then replace all bulbs. This time I’m going all blue+, not convinced the actinic was producing the same par as the blue+. I love the way BRS ships bulbs

Just finished up my light refresh, amazing how much dust had collected in my LED fixture and how hazed the reflectors where with salt spray ;Facepalm Waited until light cycle was over so won’t be able to see the results until tomorrow I did raise fixture about 4 inches to help reduce shock and may cut my schedule back temporarily .
