Is this normal? It's a 125 tank.... should I be worried of him eating my other livestock

I'm not sure if it's normal or not for that particular fish, however if he ate one he's likely to eat more.....

the firefish was an inactive swimmer, always hid in its hole and came out during feeding. Surprised to find it in the squirrels mouth while he hasnt touched any of my invertebrates

squirrel fish have relatively large mouths, and I'm not sure they're really invert eaters, mostly smaller fish. They're likely to easily get over 8" long and will eat any other fish that fit in it's mouth. 100% completely normal.

Yup that's to be expected. With most fish, if if fits in the others mouth, it's a risk. Sometimes it's decievimg-- I had an arceye that was about 2.5-3" that ate a 2.5" watchman goby and a couple other smaller gobies as soon as I added them (simultaneously). His mouth didn't look that big, and I thought arceye would be similar in temperament to flame hawk. Quite wrong. Demon fish!

Thank you guys, looks like I'll be rehousing him, if anyones interested. Santa Clarita... Also he spit him out, rip firefish :(
