I have been gone each weekend since June and My tank has suffered for it. I’ve had lots of algae but the corals and fish were all doing fine, except for my BTA. When I left this past weekend, it was doing ok although I haven’t seen it fully out in a month. When I got back Sunday evening I checked on everything and it all seemed fine, but Monday morning the anemone looked terrible. I did a little bit of dragging and gluing things down Monday and I noticed the BTA (it’s name is Julius Caesar btw) was attached to a rock which I thought was perfect. I took everything out of the tank, including Julius and it’s rock, while I was flying things down and rearranging for some space. When I put it all back in I made more space for Julius and put it out in the open (although relatively in the same spot.) and ever since then it has looked dead. I don’t know if it is because I had it out of the water for maybe 20-30 minutes (it was still wet though and never dried) or if it’s because it’s no longer under the overhang area that it used to be in. But I know anemones can move so I figured it if was unhappy in its new place it would just move, so I’ve given it a few days to adjust and it still hasn’t moved. Now when the lights are on it’s completely flat and shriveled and when the lights all almost completely off (it’s on a timer so this is during late sunset/early sunrise time) it is expanded but hasn’t looked like it used to. Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be? That is poor Julius almost directly in the center of the picture
