My bubble doest act like a bubble anemone. ..

How come half the time it's a long tentacle and half the time it's bubble..??? My Rose bubble tip anemone is healthy and has split into 2 ... but always does this ? Why ? Too much light , bit enough light ?

I had one for about a year until it started moving. Did the same thing. No one really know why.

It's a toss up some people feel it's flow, water chemistry, and some light. No one knows for sure as long as it opens up then there is nothing to worry about. You can try changing flow and lighting to see if either helps but if you have not already check out Melev's 60g Nem cube do so. He has some really large and nice Bta's in there but none bubble up. Nice looking Bta's you have there.

Mine only bubbles after a big meal or when lights are turned down really low.

I've noticed in my tank the one in higher flow area bubbles a lot less than the one in lower flow area

I have a RBTA that has split 5 times the two or three years I have had it. They all remain next to each other. One could be bubbled one day while another beside it isn't. Then the next day vice versa. Who knows...

I mis-spoke is suppose. I meant a lot of people seem to move nems when they dont like where they move to in their tank cause they cant see it, I advise against this. I wouldn't try to move it just to get bubble tips out of it.

Mine is never bubbly. He picked his spot right next to my mp40 and is constantly whipped around. I can't believe he's happy there. Healthy and huge though!

See that's what mine is doing! !! Sitting right under the fan! Gets thrashed all day and loves it lol I just want bubbles!!!!

I've kept RBTA's for many years and have 10 right now. Bottom line is that they do what they want, when they want which includes bubbling. Right now my tank is at full light and flow is in a peak period and only a couple are partly bubbled. They are all happy, healthy and continually grow and split. LFS is a good example... they mostly keep BTA's at top of a tank in a basket with little or no flow and they stay fairly compact and tightly bubbled (and look maybe a 1/3 of actual size).

As far as moving them good luck with that. Yeah tank to tank is one thing but when you put them in a tank they usually go where they want and stay there. Unless of course they want more light and they will move upwards.
