OK OK. Im doing a tank thread.
But as a Professional picture taker, Im going to use my iphone
This is it, my Oceanic 30 Gallon Cube, in cherry wood. I'm a sucker for furniture, and in my 40's, so when I saw this I had to get it. Reminded me of my old Pioneer stereo cabinet only with cooler wood and has a dark smoked glass front door.
Official Birthday Dec 25 20015.
I was looking to upgrade from a JBJ nano Pro, as it just not as "Full Contact Reefing" as apparently our house is.
This was the JBJ before the system got backed up and became a cyano farm.
IT IS REALLY tough to keep a good skim on these esp if you have problem eaters. Overflow is small, skimmer compartment small. Oy. Lesson learned.
Transfer went easy as pie. Less than a day.Yes I was a nervous wreck all day."slow down J, slow down, breathe..."
Came together nice. This is actually three months later after I won the cyano war.
With an aquaclear, canister filter and refugium.
Some scrubbing a lotta rinsing and scripps water. No GFO. was a fun experiment that worked.
Thanks Randy!
Coralife 150w metal halide. If you have a cube(even 60) and want to play with a halide.
GET THIS ONE!!
A full third brighter than the other 2 I got ($25 for all
) and a much smoother spread w minimal hot spot. MMMMMMMMMMMM
I finally pulled the aquaclear in april, canister filter w carbon sponge n floss, fuge only. This month(May) I actually put a skimmer in finally . Tunze 9001 and Ill take the canister off line in a week or two.(long story)Or when the micro bubbles finally stop... Finally. Stop. no now? stop no stop Please...
Kind of in a small state of flux as Im taking some sticks out to put in the 55 soon.
