I moved my cleaner shrimp 2 days ago at night. The next day I could not find him so I didn't worry thinking he is just shy. Today no sign of him and I'm getting worried. If he got eaten my biggest culprit would be my hoevens wrasse aka melanurus wrasse. What do you think? Did he get eaten or is he still hiding?

Still hiding.

You'd probably see some remnants of the body if he was eaten...something stuck to filters/pumps etc. He's hiding somewhere.

He probably shed his skin.. when mine does that I can not find him for a few days

The first time mine molted I was sure the tongue coral had killed him when I noticed it eating the shed.
It's pretty amazing how complete their sheds can be and how well they can hide.

Sorry I couldn't reply I was studying for school. Thanks for the responses. I know he did not shed because he she'd 2 days before I moved him. What are the chances of my wrasse eating him high medium low?

It depends on the fish. My Melanurus doesn't pay any attention to the CUC at all and I have a Fire shrimp, Conch, Turbo and Nassarius snails. He did eat some Peppermint shrimp I put in to take care of some Aptasia.

I suppose it's possible, being that the Wrasse Melanurusis carnivourous. I agree with @jd371, it really depends on the fish. For example: If you have been feeding the wrasse fish flakes versus marine animals (make out of meat obviously) than it would make all the difference.
