My clownfish is acting weird?

they keep going up against this vent sometimes even stuck all the way to the side until i walk up to the tank then they move away is something bad happening to my fish? they look fine color wise and are eating normally

It's probably hosting the return outlet. Clownfish are known to do that to inanimate objects...

It's because most are captive bred - so they've never seen an anemone. I had one host a heater; another a powerhead. They're also known to harass LPS corals as well, so if they start doing that it's good to invest in a small bubbletip anemone.

my tank is still kinda new, so I'm holding off on anemone until I'm sure I'm ready to handle them. I need do some more research before I get them though.
