Hey guys! So recently (last week) I installed a new protein skimmer on my 55 gallon reef tank. After doing this, one of my clownfish (I have two) stopped eating and will not leave one corner of the tank hardly. I've tried getting him to eat for the last three days. What should I do??

How long have you had the clown? Did you check basic water chemistry?

Is one clown being bullied by the other?

No signs of disease such as white spots, breathing heavy?

I've had him since March and they don't really bully each other anymore. I haven't seen any white spots, but he acts like he's tired all the time and shows absolutely no interest in food. All of my parameters are good.

Take an image of him if you can please. You can also try moving some rocks around and see if that interest him. I am assuming this is the smaller more docile clowns of the two? I have had a couple clowns act much like your describing, for a month or more, I never did figure out what the issue was but both clowns resumed normal behavior without intervention.

Sorry the pic is a little blurry, but yes he is the smaller one of the two.
