I recently purchased wild caught snowflake clownfish along with a long tentacle anemone. I the anemone has been very active and overnight found a place to settle down, my clowns originally hosted the corner in which the anemone moved to. My clowns haven't been back to the corner since, I bought the coral along with the fish in order to have the anemone host the fish. Is it normal for the clowns not to go the coral immediately? They also refuse to eat they swim to the food to smell if you will and quickly swim away, but the thing troubling me is that they move in a pattern as if they were hungry. Is this normal As well?

It depends on how long ago you purchased them, but yes, it is common for fish to not eat for a while after being transferred into your tank, especially wild caught specimens as chemicals could have been used which would have made the fish sick and not want to eat. They get disoriented and that could also be a reason that they are not trying to host with your anemone. I would not worry about that at all though, I would put all of my attention into getting your fish to eat. Give them time, but try to get them on fresh frozen foods as soon as you can. Focus on keeping the fish alive so they have a chance to host with your anemone and they probably will.

You might want to move this to the clownfish and anemone forum.
